Stapleton Portrait Draws a Welcome Crowd

I was recently asked to shoot a portrait of Colorado State Representative Angela Williams for a campaign highlighting Stapleton Neighborhood residents. Faced with dismal winter weather and no options for waiting for better timing, we proceeded to set up near a local coffee shop. Just as we were finalizing lighting, a group of kids converged upon the shop. At first, we feared having to control the chaos of the young crowd. Instead, we asked them to join the shoot and found the perfect ingredient to add spice to an otherwise static portrait – some freshly caffeinated kids!
